MINUTES <br /> OF <br /> THE <br /> MEETING <br /> OF <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> April 18, 1995 <br /> <br />1, CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> Mayor Ben Tarver called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Dennis led the assembly in the pledge of allegiance. Ms. Dennis invited <br />the audience to participate in the review of what the General Plan Steering Committee has <br />developed by attending future workshops. Please call the Planning Department at 484-8023 and <br />ask to be put on the mailing list. The Tri-Valley planning process for the regional element of <br />the General Plan will have a meeting, April 25, in the Council Chambers at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br /> Recording Secretary Terri L. Czapinski called the roll, which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmembers present were Becky Dennis, Sharrell Michelotti, Karin Mohr, Thomas P. Pico, <br />Jr. and Mayor Ben Tarver. Staff members present were: Deborah Acosta, City Manager; <br />Steven Bocian, Assistant City Manager; Dennis Beougher, Assistant City Attorney; Brian W. <br />Swift, Director of Planning and Community Development; Randall A. Lum, Director of Public <br />Works; Susan Rossi, Director of Finance; and William van Gelder, Traffic Engineer. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br /> Deborah Acosta advised the Council of the following agenda changes: <br /> Item 6b, RZ-94-08, City of Pleasanton, is continued to May 16, 1995. <br /> Item 6j is titled as a staff report instead of a status report (no position will be <br /> taken at this meeting). <br /> Item 6k is continued. <br /> Item 4h Proclaim 4-24-30 as "Turn On Reading, Turn Off TV Week" is added <br /> to the Consent Calendar <br /> Item 6m, Letter to SamTrans is added to the agenda <br /> Labor relations negotiations with Pleasanton Firefighters Association is added to <br /> the Closed Session <br /> <br />04/18/95 - 1 - <br /> <br /> <br />
