MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> <br /> Pat Stillman, 2934 Kilkare Road, Sunol, representing Save Our Sunol, requested <br /> Council support in its lawsuit against Alameda County for the County's recent approval <br /> of a gravel quarry near the Willis Pope Water Temple. <br /> <br /> After discussion among Councilmembers, it was determined that staff would <br /> present a preliminary assessment for discussion in closed session at the next meeting. <br /> <br /> Brad Hirst, speaking on behalf of a delegation of the Balloon Platoon, indicated <br /> the organization is submitting a request to the Human Services Commission for a $5,000 <br /> donation to assist in meeting expenses for the group to participate in the Indianapolis 500 <br /> Parade. <br /> <br /> The City Clerk administered the Oath of Office to the following persons: Housing <br /> Authority Board of Commissioners - Marty Wadekamper and Larry Levin; Park and <br /> Recreation Commissioners - Gary Dove, Howard Seebach, and Jerry Thorne; and Arts <br /> in Public Places Committee member Neat Meagher. <br /> <br /> 03/21/95 <br /> -3- <br /> <br /> <br />
