It was moved by Ms. Michelotti, seconded by Ms. Dennis, to approve the request of Robert Branaugh for water service to the Oak Manor project located on Foothill Road; approves the Preannexation and Water Service Agreement; authorizes the City Manager to execute the agreement; and directs staff to file an application with LAFCO for the extension of City water service to the property. (Continued from 2/21/95) (S R95: 69) It was moved by Ms. Mohr, seconded by Ms. Michelotti, to adopt Resolution No. 95-28, approving the reappointment of Marty Wadekamper and Tom Law to the Housing Authority Board of Commissioners and appointing Larry Levin to fill the unexpired term of Bert Malig on the Housing Authority Board of Commissioners. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers - Dennis, Michelotti, Mohr, Pico, and Mayor Tarver NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None lte~n 6d Opposition to Governor's proposal to eliminate the Bay Conservation & Development Commission (SR95:58) Chris Sherwood presented the staff report. Ms. Acosta pointed out the irony that also on tonight's agenda is another recommendation to streamline government by eliminating commissions. This proposal, however, is an independent action which should be reviewed as part of the entire picture which would include comprehensive recommendations. Mr. Tarver indicated the Alameda County Mayors' Conference reviewed this at the last meeting and he had voted in the affirmative.
