MINUTES <br /> OF <br /> THE <br /> MEETING <br /> OF <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> March 7, 1995 <br /> <br /> 1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> Mayor Ben Tarver called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at <br /> 7:00 p.m. Girl Scout Troop 1862 presented the colors and led the assembly in the pledge <br /> of allegiance. <br /> <br /> Sharrell Michelotti referred to the recent death of Rick Aguiar and commented on <br /> the many valuable contributions made by Mr. Aguiar, who was a teacher at Amador <br /> Valley High School, was active in his church, and played an active role in working to <br /> provide affordable housing in the city. Ms. Michelotti indicated she would have further <br />_ suggestions for paying tribute to this individual which she would bring up under Matters <br /> Initiated by Council later in the meeting. <br /> <br /> 2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br /> City Clerk Peggy L. Ezidro called the roll, which is recorded as follows: <br /> Councilmembers present were Rebecca L. Dennis, Sharrell Michelotti, Karin Mohr, <br /> Thomas P. Pico, Jr. and Mayor Ben Tarver. Staff members present were: Deborah <br /> Acosta, City Manager; Michael H. Roush, City Attorney; Brian W. Swift, Director of <br /> Planning and Community Development; Randall A. Lum, Director of Public Works; <br /> Dolores Bengtson, Director of Parks and Community Services; Gary Smith, Director of <br /> Building Inspection; and Chris Sherwood, Management Analyst. <br /> <br /> 3. AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br /> The presentation by Helen Meier of the Tri-Valley Haven was postponed to the <br /> meeting of April 18, 1995. <br /> <br /> 03/07/95 - 1 - <br /> <br /> <br />
