-- Mr. Tarver referred to pending federal regulations and the possibility of telephone
companies getting franchise fees waived. He urged CVTV to lobby against this.

It was moved by Ms. Michelotti, seconded by Ms. Dennis, to adopt Resolution 95-14,
authorizing a grant of up to $1,000 in matching funds for the remainder of fiscal year 1994-95
for the "Valley Forum".
The roll call vote was as follows:
AYES: Councilmembers - Dennis, Michelotti, Pico, and Mayor Tarver
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilmember Mohr
ABSTAIN: None

Item 10d
Appointments to the Tri-Valley Community Television Corporation Board of Directors.
(SR 95:24)

This item was continued to the meeting of February 7, 1995.

Item 10e
Review of Agenda Format (SR 95:30)

Due to the lateness of the hour, this item was continued to the meeting of February 7,
1995.

Item 10f
Approval of report by the Davis Company regarding the potential opportunities for the
sharing of Fire Department resources within the Valley (SR 95:29)

Due to the lateness of the hour, this item was continued to the meeting of February 7,
1995.

Item 10g
Lot Line Adjustment 94-9, Exchange of property with Alameda County flood Control,
Zone 7 (SR 95:22)

Mr. Lum explained that the lot line adjustment is necessary because some pads in the
subdivision were raised, which changed the slope and drainage pattern. Zone 7 has a policy that
water should not drain onto the arroyo from adjacent property, so it can control the erosion
pattern. Mr. Swift explained the change in elevation of the pads was due to archaeological
discoveries. At the time, staff assumed there would probably have to be an adjustment to the
property line.

01/17/95
- 19-
