MINUTES <br /> OF <br /> THE <br /> MEETING <br /> OF <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> April 6, 1999 <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 7:03 p.m. <br /> <br /> Ms. Ayala led the assembly in the pledge of allegiance. She indicated that the City is <br />currently accepting applications for two committees to provide input into the Downtown Specific <br />Plan. The City is looking for members from the residential and commercial community. The <br />deadline for submitting applications is 5:00 p.m., Friday, April 16, 1999. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br /> Deputy City Clerk Rhonda K. Basore called the roll, which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmembers present were Kay Ayala, Becky Dennis, Sharrell Michelotti, Thomas P. Pico, Jr. <br />and Mayor Ben Tarver. Staff members present were: Deborah Acosta, City Manager; Michael <br />Roush, City Attorney; Brian W. Swift, Director of Planning and Community Development; Stewart <br />Gary, Fire Chief, and Gary Smith, Building Department Director. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta mentioned the City has copies of the television episode where "Bay Area <br />Backroads" featured the City of Pleasanton; a copy would be put in the library for public viewing. <br />She said Item 4s, authorization to execute Purchase Agreement for property at 157 Main Street, had <br />been pulled from the agenda and Item 6f, Passport Homes, is being continued to the April 20, 1999 <br />Cotmoil meeting. <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico requested that Item 4h, Midyear Financial Report, be continued to the April 20, <br /> 1999, City Council meeting. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver asked for further information on Item 4n, annual status report on developers' <br />funds (AB 1600 and SB 1693). <br /> <br />Pleasanton City Council 1 04/6/99 <br />Minutes <br /> <br /> <br />
