Trudy Fox, 3645 Virgin Island Court, agreed with Mr. Hovingh. There are other <br />organizations that could use this money and she felt the Chamber should go through the same <br />application process that other organizations do. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti indicated she was a member of the Chamber of Commerce and expressed <br />her support of the Chamber and the continued cooperation between the City and the Chamber. <br />She agreed this could be precedent setting and therefore did not support the motion. <br /> <br /> Ms. Ayala felt the funds should be used more progressively to support businesses in <br />Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> Mr. Tarver was also not in support of the motion. He felt there were other opportunities <br />for the City to work with the Chamber relating to the City's benefit, like the technology <br />conference. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Dennis and Pico <br />NOES: Councilmembers - Ayala, Michelotti, and Mayor Tarver <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />5. Adjournment to Community Workshop with Planning Commission and the Park gn(t <br />ReCreation Commission <br /> <br /> There being no further business, the Special Meeting was adjourned at 7:26 p.m. to a <br />Workshop with the Planning Commission and the Park and Recreation Commission to discuss <br />the San Francisco Bernal Avenue property.
