MINUTES <br /> OF THE <br /> SPECIAL MEETING <br /> OF <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> December 2, 1996 <br /> <br />1, CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Ben Tarver called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 7:07 p.m. <br /> <br />2, ROLL CALL <br /> <br /> City Clerk Peggy L. Ezidro called the roll, which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmembers present were Becky Dennis, Sharrell Michelotti, Karin Mohr, Thomas P. Pico, <br />Jr. and Mayor Ben Tarver. Staff members present were: Deborah Acosta, City Manager; and <br />Michael H. Roush, City Attorney. <br /> <br />3. APPROVAL OF RF~OLUTION CERTIFYING 11/5/96 ELECTION RESULTS. <br />(SR 96:361) <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Dennis, seconded by Ms. Mohr, to adopt Resolution No. <br />96-132, certifying the results of the November 5, 1996 General Election. <br /> <br />The roll Call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Dennis, Michelotti, Mohr, Pico, and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Ms. Mohr thanked all those who had worked on her campaigns over the years and given <br />her moral support. She also thanked all the citizens who had voted for her over the years. <br /> <br /> Photographs were taken of the entire Council. <br /> <br />4. OATH OF OFFICE OF NEWLY ELECTED MAYOR AND COUNCILMEMBERS. <br /> <br /> Judge G. Ronald Hyde administered the oath of office to the newly elected Treasurer, <br /> Karin Mohr. <br /> <br /> 12/02/96 <br /> <br /> -1- <br /> <br /> <br />
