(SR96:297) <br /> <br /> This item was continued pending review of the entire Growth Management Program. <br /> <br />Item 6e <br />Response to Alameda County Fair Association Management Audit dated Sentember 1996. <br />(SR96:299) <br /> <br /> Deborah Acosta presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> Ms. Dennis, speaking as a member of the Fair Board Liaison Committee, indicated the <br />report tried to focus discussion on items of most significance and ask the Board of Supervisors <br />to structure the contract to address Plcasanton's concerns. She felt there was a great deal to <br />offer regarding potential Fairgrounds activities. The Board of Supervisors can structure its <br />contract with the Fair Board or whatever entity manages the Fairgrounds to address Pleasanton's <br />concerns. She felt it was important that there be access to the true decision makers. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti, also a member of the Liaison Committee, indicated she thought the <br />Board of Supervisors is looking at all structures and one objective is to see where there could <br />be agreement to begin with and then begin to discuss issues of disagreement. <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta indicated staff has been working with Crystal Hishida of Alameda County, <br />who is working to set the meeting dates with the two members of the Board of Supervisors who <br />seem interested in working through the land use issues. <br /> <br /> -13- <br /> 10/15/96 <br /> <br /> <br />
