Ms. Michelotti stated that would be her preference. <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta stated one option not recommended was for the Council to reject all bids and <br />start again. <br /> <br /> Mr. Tarver was opposed to that idea. <br /> <br /> Mr. Roush also stated he would have to look at the Midstate bid proposal to determine <br />if Midstate, in fact, filled out the bid proposal correctly. <br /> <br /> The Council decided to continue this item in the closed session. <br /> <br />Item 6b <br />RZ-96-01. City of Pleasanton <br />Consider amendments to the "Dermltions" and "Residential" sections of the Pleasanton <br />Municipal Code to add "Secondary Units" as conditionally permitted uses. <br /> <br /> Jerry Iserson presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> Mr. Tarver stated that this is an important change to make and wished it had been in the <br />Code earlier when he personally had a secondary unit issue in his neighborhood. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br /> There being no testimony, the public hearing was closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Tarvet, seconded by Mr Pico, to introduce the Ordinance No. <br />16~0, to be read by title only and waiving a further reading thereof, amending the <br />Pleasanton Municipal Code to add "Secondary Units" as conditionally permitted uses. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Michelotti, Mohr, Pico, and Mayor Tarvet <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Dennis <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Pico that both Item &, Review of the Credit for Private Open <br />Space under the Park Dedication Ordinance, and Item 6d, Review of criteria used to establish <br />in-lieu park dedication fee be continued in that no one in the audience was present to speak on <br />these two items. <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta advised that the next agenda was full but these items could be moved to a <br />future meeting. <br /> <br />08/20/96 -18- <br /> <br /> <br />
