4. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Mohr, seconded by Ms. Michelotti, that the following actions <br />be taken on the Consent Calendar: <br /> <br /> a. Adopt Resolution No. 96-90, authorizing the City Manager to sign a quitclaim <br /> deed relinquishing the City's interest for a temporary construction easement on <br /> School District property within the North Sycamore Specific Plan area. <br /> (SR96:242) <br /> <br /> b. Approve plans and a Roadway Improvement Agreements for West Ruby Hill <br /> Drive extension, Ruby Hill, Tract 6452, Signature Properties. This item was <br /> continued to 8/20/96. <br /> <br /> c. Approve participation in Amicus Curiae Briefs concerning Mobilehome Rent <br /> Control and Regulation of Firearm Sales. (SR96:246) <br /> <br /> d. Actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission. MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> <br /> F. Roger McLain, 1787 Beachwood Way, President of the Pleasanton Lions Club, <br />referred to the gazebo in Mission Hills Park which was dedicated to George Spiliotopolous. The <br />time had come to refurbish the structure. He acknowledged the assistance of Larry Messa from <br />the Pleasanton Parks Department. The Club discovered that John Madden wanted to film a <br />commercial at this location and Mr. Madden arranged to put a new roof on the gazebo and <br />painted under it. He requested Council to join with the Lions Club in thanking Mr. Madden for <br />this donation to the City. <br /> <br /> Donna Cabanne, 4086 Loch Lomand, Livermore, invited the public to a hearing of the <br />Alameda County Board of Supervisors regarding the landfill expansion. She felt this would have <br />serious impacts on air quality and traffic. Approximately 557 trucks will travel on 1-580 daily <br />and deposit up to 11,000 tons of trash per day.
