MEETING OPEN TQ THE PUBLIC

Greg Burton, 4202 Stanley Boulevard, ~24, inquired about what is being done with
regard to the change of use occurring in the Pleasanton Mobilehome Park and the inquiries
regarding the rent structure reconciliation. Inquiries have been made since November 1995 and
no answers have been forthcoming.

Mr. Roush indicated he has reviewed correspondence and spoken to various parties in
an attempt to get the necessary information. The next step is to convene the Mobilehome
Committee and have the Committee attempt to gain cooperation from Mr. Wagner. Inquiries
are also being made by the Planning Department regarding the change in use and the State
Department of Housing and Community Development is investigating whether there is a
violation of state law in the creation of other lots in the mobilehome park. Many things are in
the process in trying to address the tenants' concerns. The process may seem to be slow, but
it is not because staff is not attempting to solve the problems.

Mr. Tarvet asked whether the ordinance regarding mobilehome parks set forth any
specific time frames or processes to follow in a situation like this.

Mr. Roush said not in this area. Mr. Roush then explained the issues of concern at this
time regarding how the back rents have been calculated.

07/02/96 -5-
