Ms. Micheloff indicated the Alameda County Planning Commission was interested in <br />how the City of Pleasanton arrived at Alternative 5 and asked for the Pleasanton staff to attend <br />a meeting with it. <br /> <br /> Kay Ayala, 4515 Gatetree Circle, felt the Board of Supervisors wanted to be assured that <br />planning was continuing in Pleasanton in a positive manner. She suggested other <br />Councilmembers attend the next PIning Commission meeting to reiterate the positive steps that <br />have occurred. She further stated that the San Francisco PUG has allocated additional funds for <br />planning the golf course for Alternative 5. She felt this was a positive indication that San <br />Francisco wants to go in our direction. <br /> <br /> Ms. Dennis believed the Planning Commissioners are responsive to the needs of <br />Pleasanton and agreed it might be a good idea for Councilmembers to attend a meeting. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti indicated there would be an Alameda County PIning Commission <br />meeting on Monday, June 24, at 1:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Animal Shelter <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti reported on actions to correct some procedures at the animal shelter. <br />Rallr0a~t boxcars <br /> <br /> Ms. Mohr indicated she had received another call about the mess surrounding the two <br />boxcars at the old depot. She asked what action is being taken. <br /> <br /> Brian Swift indicated the boxcars are an approved static display. Several letters have <br />been sent to the PRA asking it to clean up the site. He will have to indicate the status to <br />Council at the next Council meeting. <br /> <br />ExxOn Site <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico commented that the old Exxon station site has been cleaned up and looks very <br />nice now. <br /> <br />8. CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta reminded Council the next meetings on the General Plan are scheduled for <br />July 1 and July 15. <br /> <br />06/18/96 -16- <br /> <br /> <br />
