Zoning for the property is C-C (Central- <br />Commercial) District. <br /> <br /> This item was removed from the agenda. <br /> <br />7a, MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL <br /> <br />Item 7a <br />Update 0n the County processing of the San Francisco Bernal Property Application. <br />(IR96:41) <br /> <br /> Brian Swift presented the information report. <br /> <br /> Ms. Miehelotti indicated requests have been made several times to the County Planning <br />Commission that the Commission not take action on the application of the San Francisco Water <br />Department. There was public testimony requesting the Alameda County Planning Department <br />to include the changes set forth in Pleasanton's Alternative 5 plan. <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico wanted to make sure we continue to express strong opposition to Alameda <br />County approval of this project and that Pleasanton will fight with every means available to have <br />the project developed in Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta state there is a draft letter to the Alameda County Board of Supervisors being <br />routed to Council. <br /> <br /> Mr. Roush indicated the letter includes comments regarding the Specific Plan in existence <br />a year ago. Staff is now reviewing the revised Specific Plan for updated comments. Staff <br />proposes to send those comments to the County in writing. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michclotti indicated she has expressed Council's concerns at both meetings of the <br />County Planning Commission. <br /> <br /> Brian Swift said staff will be delivering responses on the Final Environmental Impact <br />Report as well as the overall project. <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta did not think the Commission would take action on June 24, but would <br />continue the matter to July 1 in order to have more time for the Commission to review the <br />documents. <br /> <br />06/18/96 -15- <br /> <br /> <br />
