He indicated he would drive through Laguna West and probably go to Mountain View, but the community cannot do that. Ms. Michelotti indicated many people have gone out and done work and she just wanted Council to look at this. She also presented guidelines. Mr. Pico said staff should include this with the staff report for May 21. Ms. Michelotti thanked Mike Sedlak for putting this together. This showed the different housing types and amenities, parking situations, etc. The guidelines were interesting because in looking at the map it is just like the original 1986 San Francisco proposal. It seems we have come full circle. She felt these were good resources for the next meeting. Ms. Dennis stated she had also driven to Laguna West. Her first thought had been that she disliked this type of suburban development in the middle of farm land. As she drove in, she found City Hall fight away and felt this was not so bad. Growth Management Ms. Acosta indicated Mr. Tarver and Ms. Dennis had mentioned concerns about the growth management program and the desire to initiate something, but there has been no Council direction to get that started. If Council wants to review the growth management program, it should initiate that here. Ms. Mohr asked how that would fit in with the General Plan ulxlate process. Ms. Dennis felt we need to be talking about it. Mr. Tarver did not believe staff was available to start a new project at this time. After further discussion, it was decided that no action was necessary at this time. 8. CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR Mr. Pico referred to the Calendar and said he was not available for the LAVWMA meeting on the 15th and the alternate should attend this meeting. There was discussion regarding the Chamber of Commerce City Employee Recognition function being sponsored by the Bank of Walnut Creek. Ms. Michelotti was not available for the CMA meeting.
