MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL <br />On-going discussion regarding San Francisco Pro_perry and Coo_oerative P!~nn|nl~ <br />for the San Francisco Water Denartment - Bernal Avenue Site. <br /> <br /> Brian Swift gave a brief update on the status of this process. The San Francisco staff <br />will bring back a plan on May 21, 1996. <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico asked what was the reaction of the San Francisco staff to the Calthorpe plans. <br /> <br /> Mr. Swift indicated San Francisco will be preparing its own plan, but it seemed to be <br />moving in the same direction. There is still discussion on the acreage for various uses in order <br />to make the golf course viable. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti stated that Kay Ayala went to Laguna West. She presented plans to <br />Council along with pictures. Mike Sedlak put together a presentation with pictures and matched <br />where the pictures were taken on the plan of Laguna West. Ms. Michelotti indicated she had <br />artended a conference and picked up a model plan in Mountain View which was also designed <br />by Peter Calthorpe. <br /> <br /> Mr. Tarver indicated that iS what he wanted to see at the May 2 1 meeting. Plans and <br />slides to show the public what neo-traditional plans look like. He wanted some different <br />approaches so everyone can see all this.
