MEETING OPEN TO THE PIJBLIC: <br /> <br /> John Bartlett, 6104 Homer Court, expressed his appreciation for the installation and <br />naming of the pedestrian bridge as the 'Children's Bridge'. He related the incident of the tragic <br />accident in 1971 which occurred near the bridge location on Hopyard Road. <br /> <br /> Robert Hall, 5022 Foothill Road, expressed his concern regarding the effects of the <br />Moller Ranch development on Tejan Creek and the impact on the residents downstream. This <br />year's heavy rains have raised concern about erosion, safety, silt buildup, etc. and requested <br />staff to look into the matter. <br /> <br /> Gary Schwagerle, 189 West Angela, indicated he would be working to get a community <br />center in Pleasanton. He suggested Centennial Hall in Hayward and the San Ramon Center as <br />good examples. <br /> <br /> Ms. Mohr indicated there is a reserve fund established for a City Hall and Community <br />Center. <br /> <br /> Joan Zender, President of the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce, announced the <br />Information Technology Expo '96 to occur September 27-29, 1996.
