(SR 96:05) <br /> <br /> Brian Swift presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver asked if the sidewalks were the same size and in the same location as in <br /> the prior project? <br /> <br /> Mr. Swift replied yes. <br /> <br /> Mr. Tarver declared the public hearing open on the application. <br /> <br /> Ken Crews, 6612 Owens Drive, representing Signature Properties, indicated concurrence <br /> with staff recommendations and conditions of approval. <br /> <br />-- Mr. Pico asked if there was guest parking in the development. <br /> <br /> Mr. Crews stated the guests have the option of using the driveway or the guest spaces <br /> that are available. He stated the CC&R's require the garage to be used for parking and will <br /> have association policing. <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico asked if any of the plans have porches. He also expressed concern about <br /> garage doors along the street. <br /> <br /> Mr. Crews replied yes, but the porches are not designed to sit on. They are for aesthetic <br /> purposes or an entry vestibule. He then referred to pictures of the various elevations and <br /> described the designs. <br /> <br /> E. J. Saucier, 5216 Genovesio Drive, lives in the adjacent development. He is concerned <br /> about adequacy of parks and the overflow of people and children who might look for <br /> entertainment in his development. The overflow of people will make it difficult for the current <br /> residents to use these recreational services (tot lot, pool, basketball courts). He suggests that <br /> a community park or a neighborhood park be built to help alleviate potential problems. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mr. Tarver declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br />-- Ms. Dennis stated she likes the court arrangement for the single-family homes.
