This Council still maintains that it wants the <br />development community to participate in the process. <br /> <br /> Ms. Ayala said since Livermore has stated it would not participate, will it put any money <br />into the 1-580/680 flyover. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti believed they had pledged the money already and did not ask for it back. <br /> Mr. Lum said Livermore did make a commitment to participate in the 1-580/680 flyover. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver said there are 13,000 units in the Dougherty Valley that are going to get <br />out of this fee if the fee is not agreed upon by all jurisdictions. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti said there is a movement from the other jurisdictions (other than <br />Livermore) that might want to move forward with the fee. Livermore will enact a fee on its <br />own. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver felt if Livermore does not want to work cooperatively then the problem <br />could not be solved regionally. <br /> <br /> Ms. Ayala asked what the advantage was in approving this fee. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti said Pleasanton needs to do what it needs to do. If Pleasanton believed <br />that a regional fee needs to be set, then it needs to move forward with this. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver was not convinced Pleasanton should move forward without Livermore. <br /> Ms. Ayala asked for staff to address the letter from the Homebuilders Association. <br /> <br /> Mr. van Gelder said the Homebuilders Association concerns have been addressed in the <br />staff report. <br /> <br /> Ms. Dennis would like further discussions with Livermore. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti said she had expressed to the TVTC and Councilmembers from <br />Livermore that Pleasanton's Council was in full support of Highway 84.
