Adopt Resolution No. 97-128, initiating the formation of a Geologic Hazard <br /> Abatement District (GHAD) for Laurel Creek Estates, Tracts 6400 and 6509; <br /> setting a public hearing concerning the formation for November 18, 1997; and <br /> ordering the City Clerk to mail notices of the hearing to all affected property <br /> owners. (SR97:309) <br /> <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala, Dennis, Michelotti, Pico and Mayor Tarvet <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti asked if the telecommunications report could be brought back to Council <br /> as quickly as possible. She said there is concern about telecommunications coverage in <br /> Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico said he would like a thorough job done. <br /> <br /> 5. MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> <br /> The following businesses received a "Key to the City" and were honored for being in <br /> operation in Pleasanton for over fifty years. <br /> <br /> Alameda County Fair Association Medicine Shoppe <br /> Bank of America Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce <br /> Christenson's Pleasanton Garbage Service <br /> Castlewood County Club Pleasanton Hotel <br /> Gail Law Offices Presbyterian Community Church <br /> Graham Hitch Mortuary RMC Lonestar <br /> Hap's Bar and Grill Safeway <br /> Kaiser Sand and Gravel St. Augustine Church <br /> Kohl Hardware Valley Times <br /> Meadow Lark Dairy <br /> <br /> Gall Gilpin gave a brief report on the program recognizing businesses for their long <br /> standing contributions to the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> R.
