Item <br />Modification to the Development Agreement for WellS Fargo <br />Application for an amendment to the Development Agreement tO extend the term for five <br />years. from August 9. 2000. to August 9, 2005~ for an amendment tO the ReimburSement <br />Agreement to clarify the method and manner of construction and/Or payment for certain <br />public improvements required as mitigation measures: and for an amendment to the <br />Development Deferment Aareement to conform its term to the new term of the <br />Development Agreement. for the Stoneridge Corporate Plaza H located east of Stoneridge <br />Mall between Stoneridge Mall Road and Highway 1-680. (SR97:311) <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Michelotti, seconded by Ms. Ayala to continue this item to <br />December 2, 1997. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala, Dennis, Michelotti, Pico and Mayor Tarver. <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Item 6e <br />Application of Bay Area Yellow Cab Company to conduct business in Pleasanton, <br />(SR97:305) <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta presented the staff report. She also mentioned the cab company would be <br />willing to change it business name to Bay Area Cab Company, because of the concern about the <br />use of the word "yellow" in the business name. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br /> Reza Ghorbani, 3596-B Utah Street, owner of the Yellow Cab Company, said his main <br />concern was the use of the word yellow in the business name. Since the applicant has agreed <br />to remove the word yellow, it is no longer a concern. He requested there be a certain amount <br />of differences between the colors of the two cab companies. He said there are many cities that <br />do limit the number of taxi cab companies within a city. He would like Pleasanton to limit the <br />number of cab companies here. <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta presented two pictures of the proposed cab colors for the new company. The <br />revised colors show more green on the cabs. <br /> <br /> Ms. Ayala asked if Mr. Ghorbani's taxis were all yellow. <br /> <br /> Mr. Ghorbani said yes. <br /> <br />Pleasanton City Council 10/21/97 <br />Minutes 26 <br /> <br /> <br />
