4, CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Ayala, seconded by Ms. Michelotti, that the following actions be <br />taken on the Consent Calendar: <br /> <br /> a. Approve the City Council Minutes as amended for August 26, 1997 and <br /> September 5, 1997. <br /> <br /> b. Proclaim September 22-26, 1997 as "Lawsuit Abuse Awareness Week" in <br /> Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> c. Adopt Resolution No. 97-108, authorizing participation in ABAG's Power <br /> Purchasing Pool Program for Electricity and authorize the City Manager to sign <br /> the Joint Powers Agreement and Direct Access Electric Aggregation Agreement. <br /> (SR97:277) <br /> <br /> d. Approve the contract with Dowling Associates in an amount not to exceed <br /> $50,000 to provide specialized traffic consultant services related to the West Las <br /> Positas Interchange Study and authorize the City Manager to execute said <br /> agreement. Authorize the connection of 3437 Bernal Avenue and 366 Virginia Way to the <br /> City sanitary sewer system, provided all connection work is done to the <br /> satisfaction of the City Engineer and all costs are borne by the property owners; <br /> adopt Resolution No. 97-109, approving the preannexation agreements with Tom <br /> Fellmeier for property located at 3437 Bernal Avenue and Carla Georgis for <br /> property located at 366 Virginia Way; authorize the City Manager to execute the <br /> Preannexation Agreements on behalf of the City of Pleasanton; and authorize <br /> filing an application with LAFCo for the extension of City services for the <br /> residences of Fellmeier and Georgis.
