Mr. Swift said the PUD allowed for a hotel or office building to be built. The developer <br />decided to build of~c~ buildings. <br /> <br /> Ms. Ayala asked what was happening with the apartments at Stoneridge and Owens. <br /> <br /> Mr. Swift said the property changed owners and major problems were found with the <br />structural development, so each building is being renovated. <br /> <br /> Ms. Ayala asked where the residents were while this was being done. <br /> <br /> Mr. Swift said they were being moved from building to building. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarvet said he received a letter from Marge Trimball, signed by twenty seniors, <br />who were concerned about rent control. He would like Council to investigate rent control <br />regulations. <br /> <br /> Mr. Bocian said the Housing Division was presently gathering information to see what <br />opportunities there are for the City. Staff will respond to the letter from Marge Trimball and <br />the seniors. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver encouraged the public to attend the Technology Showcase, September 24, <br />25, and 26. <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico said he would like the City of Pleasanton to reconsider its position relative to <br />the Tri-Valley subregional fee and whether it would be supporting the concept of a toll road. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti said the next TVTC meeting will be September 24 and there would not <br />be enough time for Council to discuss the issue.
