Ms. Michelotti asked if the homeowners understood the homes did not have to face <br />Foothill Road. <br /> <br /> Mr. Swift said it was understood. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Michelotti, and seconded by Ms. Dennis, to approve PUD-89- <br />17-4M, the application for a minor modification to an approved planned unit development <br />to locate open fencing to within four feet of the street curb on War Glory Place and <br />Rockford Place and to allow the individual Foothill Road setback for each lot to average <br />the required setback if the house facade is not parallel to Foothill Road. <br />The roll call vote was as followS; <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala, Dennis, Michelotti, Pico and Mayor Tarver. <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />7. MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico commented that the Zone 7 liaison meeting new data was provided about the <br />flood control issues for Arroyo de la Laguna. He was concerned about what the potential <br />liability for the City would be if a 100 year flood were to happen. He asked what the City could <br />do to notify the people that might be impacted by this. He directed staff to research this. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti asked the Mayor to follow up at the Mayor's Conference the proposal to <br />support contacting our Federal and State legislators for traffic funding mitigation. She said the <br />City needs to get proactive about this. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver said transportation has been discussed. The Conference does not allow <br />much time for discussion. <br /> <br /> Ms. Dennis asked it be possible to create a special task force to work on this. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti said she had a list of people to contact. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver said there should be more discussion about the EPA quality and ozone <br />standards. <br /> <br /> Ms. Dennis agreed. <br /> <br />8.
