It was moved by Ms. Dennis, and seconded by Ms. Ayala, authorizing the City <br /> Manager to sign an agreement for shared litigation costs for the Eastbay corridor in the <br /> event of a legal challenge to one of the municipal ordinances banning the sale of Saturday <br /> Night Specials. <br /> The r011 call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala, Dennis, Michelotti, Pico and Mayor Tarver. <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Dennis, and seconded by Ms. Ayala, supporting AB488, the <br /> Handgun Safety Standard Act of 1~)7; and SBS00 (similar to AB488); and/or AB23, the <br /> Assault Weapons Ban. <br /> The roll C~ll vote was aS follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala, Dennis, Michelotti, Pico and Mayor Tarvet. <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver said even though he supported the Assembly and Senate bills, he felt <br /> legislation still has more to do in terms of creating greater punishments for criminals with <br /> firearms. <br /> <br /> 4, CLOSED SESSION <br /> <br /> There was a dosed session held at 10:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to confer with legal Counsel <br /> concerning potential litigation against DSRSD concerning its certification of an EIR and approval <br /> of the Clean Water Revival Project; existing litigation against DSRSD/EBMUD Recycled Water <br /> Progarm; and confer with City Manager as real property negotiation, concerning 807 Main Steet <br /> (St Vincents DePaul). <br /> <br /> 5.
