Chairperson Tarver declared the public hearing open. There being no testimony, the public hearing was closed. It was moved by Ms. Dennis, and seconded by Ms. Ayala, adopting Resolution No. 97-60 declaring the Board's intention to approve assessments within the Moller Ranch Geologic Hazard Abatement District; setting July 15, 1997 as the date of the public hearing for the Board to hear protests concerning the proposed assessments; and directing the Clerk of the District to mail a notice of the public hearings to the owners of the real property located in the Geologic Hazard Abatement District. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Directors - Ayala, Dennis, Michelotti, Pico and Chair Tarver. NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None 1. CALL TO ORDER Mayor Ben Tarver called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 7:00 p.m. Ms. Ayala led the assembly in the pledge of allegiance. Ms. Ayala congratulated George Winters and Larry Messa on their recent retirements after thirty years of City service. 2. ROLL CALL City Clerk Peggy L. Ezidro called the roll, which is recorded as follows: Councilmembers present were Kay Ayala, Becky Dennis, Sharrell Michelotti, Thomas P. Pico, Jr. and Mayor Ben Tarver. Staff members present were: Deborah Acosta, City Manager; Michael H. Roush, City Attorney; Brian W. Swift, Director of Planning and Community Development; Randall A. Lure, Director of Public Works; Steven Bocian, Assistant City Manager; and Sue Rossi, Director of Finance. 3. AGENDA AMENDMENTS Item 4c, Status Report on Towing Services and Item 4d, Approval of Agreement with Towing Services and Fee Schedule was continued to a meeting in July.
