It will be updated annually starting in June 1999. There are three sections: the first is <br />a list of business resources; the second is a listing of all non-profit organizations; and the third <br />section is a listing of all Pleasanton businesses. The City has provided a hot link to all businesses <br />that provided a web site address. She encouraged people to look at the business directory on the <br />web page at www.ci.pleasanton.ca.us, click on Doing Business in Pleasanton, then click on <br />Business Directory. <br /> <br /> Ms. Dennis asked how the businesses are listed? <br /> <br /> Ms. Gilpin said they are listed alphabetically and by category. <br /> <br /> Jeremy Cohen, 3780 Pimlico Drive, said recently the City has received some negative <br />exposure. He asked what could be done to ensure a more positive image. <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta said her office receives more positive comments than bad. The City continues <br />to be a place where people want to work and live. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti said a recent editorial published in the Herald submitted by a resident <br />explained what a wonderful City Pleasanton is. <br /> <br /> Sara Greene, 4408 Mohr Avenue, #2, asked what assistance the Council was planning on <br />giving to encourage participation in the Youth Master Plan. Many times things like this fail <br />because there is no adult cooperation or communication. <br /> <br /> Paula Wuj ek, Parks and Community Sevices Department, explained the Youth Commission <br />reports to the City Council and the Youth Master Plan is a City and School District collaborative <br />effort to address their needs. There is plenty of opportunity for anyone to get involved.
