Mayor Tarver declared the public hearing open. There being no speakers, the public heating was closed. It was moved by Ms. Michelotti, seconded by Ms. Ayala, to introduce Ordinance No. 1767, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, amending the Pleasanton Municipal Code to reduce the required parking ratio for banks from one space per every 150 square feet of gross floor area to one space per every 300 square feet of gross floor area, as filed under Case RZ-98-07. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala, Dennis, Michelotti, Pico, and Mayor Tarver. NOES: None. ABSENT: None. ABSTAIN None. Item 6d Council representativeto the Tri-Valley Vision project. (SR98:298) Ms. Michelotti said Councilmember Dennis has done a good job on this committee and she would support her continuing if she is interested. Ms. Dennis said she would be happy to continue. It was moved by Ms. Micheloff, seconded by Ms. Ayala, to adopt Resolution No. 98-148, designating Councilmember Dennis as the Council representative to the Tri-Valley Vision project. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala, Dennis, Michelotti, Pico, and Mayor Tarver. NOES: None. ABSENT: None. ABSTAIN None. Mayor Tarver commented that he had great expectations when this project started. But he is losing that feeling because the meetings are not convenient for the public or for him to attend. He feels it is important to involve the community as much as possible. Ms. Dennis said the meetings that have been held so far did not really involve everybody that is going to participate. She said there are eleven subcommittees. She will convey the Mayor's sentiment about public outreach to the committee. She agreed for the validity of the work being done, it is very important to have the public participate. This is just the beginning of the process.
