of the City. He has not seen a final agreement so he could not say he would agree, but did not <br />like the idea that was in the staff report. He wants to see an agreement with the property <br />owners for a golf course for which $2 million has already been spent. <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta said the issue as to who would pay this cost was brought before Council at <br />an earlier date. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver said he does not want the golf course to bear the burden of the roadway <br />for the additional lots. Now the staff report states that it will be the City's responsibility to pay <br />for a part of the roadway attributable to the golf course but also for the new homes. He has not <br />made that decision yet. <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta said staff brought before Council the conceptual issues that were involved <br />with the core property owners agreement Council conceptually agreed. Staff has tried to bring <br />status reports to Council on the golf course so there would be no surprises. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver still had concerns. <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta said staff has moved forwarded based on the decision that Council made that <br />the City would pick up part of the share.
