Ms. Michelotti still wanted to look at the permitting process and keeping some of the <br />existing conditions. She felt the direction was not to significantly expand the allowable locations <br />and protect the City at the same time. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Hco, and seconded by Ms. Ayala, to maintain the current <br />zoning ordinance concerning extrasensory consulting. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala, Dennis, Michelotti, Pico and Mayor Tarver. <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Pico, and seconded by Ms. Dennis, that Ordinance No. 1770 <br />be introdnced, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, adding Chapter <br />6.68 to the Municipal Code, to require Police Department permits for extrasensory <br />consultants. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver supported the motion. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti said this is part she wanted to review. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver said staff has done considerable investigation and work. The reason was <br />because somebody has threatened to sue the City. If the City is successfully sued it will correct <br />the situation. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti did not want to invite a lawsuit that was nondefendable.
