Ms. Ayala said she would work with staff between now and the next meeting to come
up with various conditions.

Mr. Pico felt the Vineyard Corridor school would be the next one opened and it is closer
to the Ruby Hill area. He did not want children that are now going to Lydiksen to have to shift
to the Vineyard Corridor.

Mayor Tarver said the School District will have to make boundary changes when it is
decided where the schools will be built.

Mr. Pico wanted to know where the kids from the other 1800 homes that are approved
are going to go to school.

Ms. Michelotti wanted to make sure the amenity would benefit the west side of town.
She felt the amenity in a project is an enhancement and the amenity for this project should
benefit the area adjacent or around the Foothill area.

Ms. Ayala said comments would also be taken from the public at the next meeting.

It was moved by Ms. Ayala, and seconded by Mr. Pico, to continue the item to the
November 17, 1998 Council meeting to take public testimony related to schools, the amenity
package, and the traffic study.
The roll call vote was as follows:
AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala, Dennis, Michelotti, Pico and Mayor Tarver.
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None

Item 6e
PUD-98-10, Jerrell M. and Vicki J.
