MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> <br /> Steve Brooks, 6111 Johnson Court, #203, Pleasanton, Executive Director for the Tri- <br />Valley Community Fund, gave a presentation on the Youth Report Card survey. <br /> <br /> Peter Snyder, 11497 Silvergate Drive, Dublin, said it was a pleasure to be before Council <br />with a finished project. He thanked Council for its participation. He hoped that someone on <br />the Council would take the responsibility to make sure the community addressed the issues that <br />were identified in the report. <br /> <br /> Ms. Ayala said the City is in agreement with the Pleasanton School District, has allocated <br />money for a Youth Master Plan and the information from the Youth Report Card can be <br />incorporated into that Plan. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver appreciated the recommendations that were highlighted in the pamphlet. <br /> <br /> Mr. Brooks went over the summary document. The synopsis was that the youth in the <br />Tri-Valley area felt life was good. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti said as the City moves forward with the Master Youth Plan she would <br />like to collaborate with the Tri-Valley Community Fund for possible exploration of grants. She <br />thanked Mr. Brooks for his efforts. <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico asked if he had presented the survey to the Youth Commission? <br /> <br /> Mr. Brooks said not yet. <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico felt the Youth Commission was an important organization that needed to see <br />the survey. <br /> <br /> Mr. Brooks said members of the Youth Commission supported this project and he <br />intended to make a presentation to the Commission sometime in the future. <br /> <br />Pleasanton City Council 4 06/16/98 <br />Minutes <br /> <br /> <br />
