MINUTES <br /> OF <br /> THE <br /> MEETING <br /> OF <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> April 7, 1998 <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Ben Tarver called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br /> Ms. Dennis led the assembly in the pledge of allegiance. She said the Mayor and <br />Council were once again interviewing potential commissioners. She was pleased with the numbr <br />of applicants and felt the community was truly blessed with citizens who want to step forward <br />to give their time and expertise to assist in the decision making process. She wanted to thank <br />all the residents here tonight and those who regularly give their opinions to make this a better <br />place to live. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br /> City Clerk Peggy L. Ezidro called the roll, which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmembers present were Kay Ayala, Becky Dennis, Sharrell Michelotti, Thomas P. Pico, <br />Jr. and Mayor Ben Tarver. Staff members present were: Deborah Acosta, City Manager; <br />Michael H. Roush, City Attorney; Brian W. Swift, Director of Planning and Community <br />Development; Randall A. Lum, Director of Public Works; Bill van Gelder, Traffic Engineer; <br />Sue Rossi, Director of Finance; and Nelson Fialho, Assistant to the City Manager. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta said due to scheduling conflicts, Item 4u, concerning the Memorandum of <br />Understanding with the Pleasanton Police Officers Association, was continued to April 21, 1998. <br /> <br /> There was a request by the applicant to move Item 6c, AP-98-01 (Z-97-310) St. Elizabeth <br />Seton Parish, to later in the agenda. <br /> <br />Pleasanton City Council 4/7/98 <br />Minutes <br /> <br /> 1 <br /> <br /> <br />
