Item 6b <br />Sewer Rate Adjustments and charges for Calendar Year 1998. (SR98:56) <br /> <br /> Randall A. Lum presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> Vice Mayor Dennis opened the public hearing. <br /> <br /> There were no speakers and the public hearing was closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Michelotti, seconded by Ms. Ayala, to introduce Ordinance No. <br />1740, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, mending Table <br />15.20.180 of Section 15.20.180 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code concerning sewer rates <br />and charges, and to adopt Resolution No. 98-23, mending the Master Fee Schedule to <br />reflect the new local sewer rates for 1998. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala, Michelotti, Pico, and Vice Mayor Dennis <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Mayor Tarver <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Item 6c <br />Analysis of arterial cut-through traffic. (SR98:58) <br /> <br /> Randall A. Lure presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti referred to the proposed ramp metering and felt that when you penalize <br />cut-through drivers, you also penalize the Pleasanton residents. <br /> <br /> Mr. Lum indicated the staff report did not discuss ramp metering and no action would <br />be taken at this time. <br /> <br /> Ms. Ayala asked if there were meters on Hacienda Drive. <br /> <br /> Mr. Lum said every on-ramp on 1-580 and some on 1-680 have had the metering lights <br />installed, but there is an agreement with CalTrans not to turn them on at this time. <br /> <br /> Mike Waller, of Advance Transportation Data, Inc., made a presentation regarding the <br />mechanics of the survey and the conclusions reached. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti asked if the 15-21% increase in traffic on Stoneridge included <br />consideration of the proposed 1-580 auxiliary lanes. <br /> <br />Pleasanton City Council 3/17/98 <br />Minutes 6 <br /> <br /> <br />
