Mr. Roush said people who have looked at this ordinance have reached a different conclusion than the majority of the speakers here tonight. Ms. Michelotti wanted to know why the Clock gun was not on the list. Mr. Roush did not know. Ms. Dennis suggested having a list of guns that people thought should be on the list. Ms. Acosta said administrative time and energy would be saved if Council just waited to see if there was a desire to place something else on the list. Ms. Dennis would like a record kept of the current appeal process so the public would know what decision was made. It was moved by Ms. Dennis, seconded by Ms. Ayala, to adopt Ordinance 1738, amending Chapters 18.08 (Definitions), 18.28 (Agricultural District), 18.32 (One-family Residential Districts), 18.36 (Multi-family Residential Districts), 18.40 (Office District), 18.44 (Commercial Districts), 18.48 (Industrial Districts), 18.52 (Rock, Sand and Gravel Extraction District), 18.56 (Public and Institutional District) and 18.104 (Home Occupations) of the Pleasanton Municipal Code to add regulations for firearm sales, to change the regulations for gunsmiths, and to change the minimum office space regulations for office uses in the Industrial Park District. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala, Dennis, Michelotti, Pico and Mayor Tarver. NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None Ms. Michelotti asked if there was a way to go through the list of firearms and get reasoning as to why it was on the list. Mr. Roush said yes. He received from Mr. Collins an analysis as to the various manufacturers and models and whether they met definition one, two, three, or all three. Ms. Michelotti would like additional information to support what was being adopted. Mr. Roush asked if Council wanted a second opinion regarding the definitions.
