Manager shall prepare a draft list of the additions to the roster. Then the notice is given to the
manufacturers.

Mr. Pico said testimony has been heard this evening stating that the Glock firearm should
be on the roster. How would the City go about reviewing this firearm to determine if it needed
to be placed on the list or not?

Mr. Roush said the Glock models would need to be looked at and a determination would
be made as to whether that firearms fell under the definitions listed in the ordinance.

Mr. Pico asked if determinations had been made on any other guns besides what was on
the roster.

Mr. Roush said no.

Mr. Pico asked if the Police Chief believed there were any other weapons that might exist
that would fall under the definitions of Saturday Night Specials as set forth in the ordinance.

Mr. Roush said he did not know.

Mr. Crowton asked why the language in the ordinance did not include the language
regarding the agreement with the Fairgrounds.

Mayor Tarver said there had been an agreement reached with the County as to the
Fairgrounds. As long as the Fairgrounds continued to run the gun shows as it had in the past,
the ordinance would not apply, but if it changed any, then it would apply.

Mr. Crowton asked how long the agreement was good for?

Mayor Tarver said there was no end date specified. There is a binding agreement that
what happens there today is grandfathered in, but anything new the City would have a say in
how that operates.

Mario Scoma, 57-B California Avenue, said people do not understand the difference
between the metals used to make the firearms. He used an example of buying a Honda Civic
(affordable firearms) versus buying a Honda Accord (a more expensive firearm). He said the
general public do not understand what is going on. People want to be able to buy what they can
afford. He agreed with letting the people decide whether they wanted the ordinances or not.

Dorothy Finney, 629 Ruth Way, Livermore, said any business, whether it is commercial
or a home, which does not have its hours of operation open to the public may not be entered by
any government agency, federal, state, or local, unless the owners consent or there is a search
warrant.
