Mr. Hovingh said he would not vote for it. He felt Council would be doing the citizens <br />a service by rejecting the expenditure plan and sending a message to the Board of Supervisors <br />that Council would not deal with anyone that presented projects that did not get completed. <br /> <br /> There were no further speakers. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Pico, seconded by Ms. Michelotti, to adopt Resolution No. <br />98-12, approving the Alameda County Expenditure Plan plus the amendments that had <br />been proposed for BART. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver said he did not support this. He was voting in favor of it so the Board of <br />Supervisors would have the opportunity to present its case to the voters. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala, Dennis, Michelotti, Pico and Mayor Tarver. <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti asked if there was any desire to make any statement regarding Highway <br />84. <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico said that could be made anytime between now and the election. <br /> <br />7.
