MINUTES <br /> OF <br /> THE <br /> MEETING <br /> OF <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> February 9, 1998 <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> Mayor Ben Tarver called the Special Meeting of the City Council to order at 6:30 p.m. <br /> Mayor Tarver led the assembly in the pledge of allegiance. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br /> City Clerk Peggy L. Ezidro called the roll, which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmembers present were Kay Ayala, Becky Dennis, Sharrell Michelotti, and Mayor Ben <br />Tarver. Staff members present were: Deborah Acosta, City Manager; Michael H. Roush, City <br />Attorney; Brian W. Swift, Director of Planning and Community Development; and William <br />Eastman, Police Chief. <br /> <br /> Thomas P. Pico, Jr. arrived at 7:03 p.m. <br /> <br /> Michael Roush said he would like the Council to add a closed session concerning a <br />workers compensation matter. This item came up after the agenda was posted. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mayor Tarver, and seconded by Ms. Ayala, to adopt Resolution <br />No. 98-08, adding to the agenda a closed session concerning a workers compensation claim, <br />directly following tonight's meeting. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala, Dennis, Michelotti, and Mayor Tarver. <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Pico <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Pleasanton City Council 1 02/09/98 <br />Minutes <br /> <br /> <br />
