MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> <br /> The City Council honored the following businesses who participated in the Spare the Air <br />Program and presented each of them with a certificate: <br /> <br /> AT&T <br /> Clorox <br /> Doctors Essential Services <br /> Safeway Inc. <br /> Unisource <br /> <br /> The following businesses were honored but were unable to attend: <br /> <br /> Califomia Indemnity Pleasanton Hilton <br /> Chase Manhattan Capitol Pro-Business <br /> Dillingham Construction Providian Financial <br /> Farmers Insurance SBS Services <br /> G. E. Vallecitos Center Ultradam <br /> Golden Grain Zenith Insurance Company <br /> People Soft Kaiser Cement <br /> H. Q. Pleasanton <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver appreciated the participation of the businesses in helping Pleasanton to <br /> meet the federal standards and keeping the air clean. <br /> <br /> Bruce Fiedler, Pleasanton Gardens, 251 Kottinger, showed slides of several drainage <br />areas that had flooded during the recent rains and asked Council to move the drainage pipe CIP <br />project forward in the capital improvement budget. <br /> <br /> Randy Lum mentioned the City is working with the Kottinger Ranch Homeowners <br /> Association to address some of the issues Mr. Fiedler had brought forward. The last CIP <br /> hearing approved the bypass Kottinger storm line but five years out.
