AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti asked to discuss Item 4d, the status report on neighborhood traffic <br />calming program and an amendment to the professional services contract with Pat Noyes <br />Associates, before voting on that item. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver asked for a show of hands for people here on Item 6a, review of the <br />alternatives analysis for the Vineyard Avenue Corridor Specific Plan, and; on Item 6b, Council <br />consideration of the Ponderosa Homes referendum issues. He requested to move Item 6b as the <br />first item under public hearings. <br /> <br />4. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Dennis, seconded by Ms. Ayala, that the following actions be <br />taken on the Consent Calendar: <br /> <br /> a. Approve the City Council Minutes for January 6, 1998, as amended. <br /> <br /> b. Accept public improvements for the Moller Park booster pump and sidewalk <br /> replacement, Project No. 958040; authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice of <br /> Completion for the subject project; authorize final payment to Lemings Irrigation, <br /> Inc. in the amount of $11,271.46; and authorize payment of the retention in the <br /> amount of $4,967.16 to Lemings Irrigation, Inc. thirty days after filing the Notice <br /> of Completion. (SR98: 16) <br /> <br /> c. Accept public improvements for the Arroyo Trails project (bridges and <br /> undercrossing) Phase I, Project No. 935027A; authorize the City Clerk to file a <br /> Notice of Completion for the subject project; authorize final payment to R. L. <br /> Chaldes Construction Company, in the amount of $3,437.11; and authorize <br /> payment of the retention in the amount of $30,337.45 to R. L. Chaldes <br /> Construction Company thirty days after filing the Notice of Completion. <br /> (SR98: 18) <br /> <br /> d. Authorize the City Manager to sign the contract amendment with Pat Noyes <br /> Associates for professional services related to traffic calming devices. (SR98:22) <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti mentioned that an additional $25,000 was needed to complete the <br /> project, bringing the total to $50,000. The cut-through traffic studies have cost <br /> almost $100,000.
