d. Status report and amendment to consultant contract with Pat Noyes for <br /> neighborhood traffic calming services. Approve the contract with HYA Consulting Engineers to provide the necessary <br /> engineering services to prepare a recycled water feasibility study, Project No. <br /> 971016, and authorize the City Manager to execute the contract. (SR98: 10) <br /> <br /> f. Authorize the City Manager to execute an amendment to the consultant contract <br /> with Mundie & Associates in the amount of $26,000 and transfer $26,000 from <br /> the contingency fund for special studies to the account established for the San <br /> Francisco Bernal property project. Introduce Ordinance No. 1734, to be read by rifle only and waiving further <br /> reading thereof, repealing Chapter 9.16 and 9.18 of the Pleasanton Municipal <br /> Code and reenacting Chapter 9.16 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code, to authorize <br /> the City of Pleasanton to implement state law as the Certified Unified Program <br /> Agency (CUPA) and to amend the Uniform Fire Code to add Article 89, a toxic <br /> gas ordinance applicable to businesses who handle, store or use toxic gases. <br /> (SR98: 14) <br /> <br /> h. Accept PG&E's offer to acquire its street lights and street light facilities for the <br /> sum of $1,358,100, plus interest in the amount of $69,403 through January 4, <br /> 1998 and authorize the advance of $500,000 from the General Fund Capital <br /> Project Reserve; $100,000 from the Street Light Replacement Fund; and <br /> $337,904 (plus a few days additional interest) from the Equipment Replacement <br /> Fund, in order to pay the remaining balance ($937,904 through January 4, 1998). <br /> (SR98:06) <br /> <br /> i. Actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission. (IR98:02) <br /> No action was required or taken on this item. <br /> <br /> j. PUD-89-05-3M, Win(l~Or Homes - Laguna Oaks Land Unit "B" <br /> Application for a PUD modification to allow for the construction of up to 250 <br /> sq.ft. single-story additions to the existing homes within the subdivision and to <br /> establish a 15-foot minimum rear yard and a five-foot minimum side yard setback <br /> for these additions.
