wildlife corridor is shown on the revised Specific Plan map <br />contained within the Final EIR. <br /> <br /> Neither the DEIR nor the Final EIR states thet the <br />impact of the Project upon vegetation and wildlife habitat is <br />significant. Vegetation and wildlife habitat impacts of the <br />Project also are also not included on page 89 of the DEIR in <br />the list of significant unavoidable adverse impacts of the <br />Project. <br /> <br /> a. The City Council finds that the <br />preservation of existing heritage trees in accordance with <br />Mitigation Measure No. 1 set forth on page 42 of the DEIR and <br />the Pleasanton Tree Preservation Ordinance referenced therein <br />will substantially reduce the impacts relating to heritage <br />trees of the Project and subsequent development of the Project <br />site. This measure has already been incorporated into the <br />Project. <br /> <br /> b. The City Council further finds that the <br />preservation of heritage trees along Bernal Avenue and Foothill <br />Road by means of landscape easements, as set forth in <br />Mitigation Measure No. 1 for Residual Impacts on page 42 of the <br />DEIR, will substantially reduce the impact upon heritage trees <br />of the Project and subsequent development of the Project site. <br /> <br /> c. The City Council further finds that the <br />preservation of a wildlife corridor pursuant to Mitigation <br />Measure No. 2 for residual impacts set forth on pages 10 and 18 <br /> <br /> 11 <br /> <br /> <br />
