(This was required twice, resulting in <br />the use of the originally proposed format); and revised doc- <br />ument cover. <br /> <br />Since CH2M HILL was never given clear direction or comments <br />from the Caltran's reviewers, at times several revisions of <br />the text were necessary to develop a document acceptable to <br />the committee. <br /> <br />Task ll--Respond to Final Caltrans Comments <br /> <br />CH2M HILL staff attended a meeting to review the final <br />Caltrans comments and incorporate revisions into the Envi- <br />ronmental Document. The revised document was prepared and <br />readied for final publication and release to the public <br /> <br />Task !2--Prepare and Distribute Final Draft Environmental <br />Document <br /> <br />CH2M HILL was requested to assemble, produce, and distribute <br />the final draft Environmental Document. Several meetings <br />were required with Caltrans to assemble the mailing distri- <br />bution list for the document, since no clear direction for <br />the required distribution was given by Caltrans. <br /> <br />CH2M HILL assembled and prepared the final draft ED, printed <br />200 copies of the Final Draft ED, assembled and reviewed the <br />mailing distribution list with Caltrans staff at several <br />different meetings, developed the Caltrans transmittal let- <br />ters to accompany the ED, distributed copies of the ED and <br />Traffic Report to local city halls and libraries, distributed <br />copies of the ED to the State Clearinghouse and'applicable <br />reviewing agencies, and followed up with these libraries and <br />Public Works Departments to ensure that the documents were <br />available for public review prior to the Map Display and <br />Public Hearing. <br /> <br />Task 13--Attend Map Display and Public Hearin~ <br /> <br />CH2M HILL was requested to have representatives attend both <br />the Map Display and the Public Hearing to respond to ques- <br />tions concerning the project. CH2M HILL attended the Map <br />Display and Public Hearing. <br /> <br />Task 14--Assemble and Distribute Revised Final Draft En- <br />vironmental Document <br /> <br />CH2M HILL responded to those comments received during the <br />public comments period, the Map Display and the Public Hear- <br />ing.
