7. The haul route for construction materials shall utilize the
1-580 -- Foothill Road -- Canyon Way route. Construction
traffic using Stoneridge Drive shall be minimized to the
maximum extent feasible, and shall then only be used with the
approval of the City Engineer.

8. Sidewalks connecting the on-site sidewalks to Stoneridge Mall
Road shall be added at such time that the City Engineer deems
such sidewalk(s) necessary to accommodate pedestrian traffic.
Sidewalks shall be located to intersect Stoneridge Mall Road
at appropriate locations for crossing and shall be designed
on-site to minimize driveway crossings.

9. The project shall pay prior to receipt of a building permit
its pro rata share of each of these improvements:

a. Widening Canyon Way and reconfiguring the westbound
movement to allow 3 right turn movements and one
combined thru-left turn movement;

b. Foothill Road between Deodar Way and Stoneridge Drive
shall be restriped as a 6-lane thoroughfare;

c. Signalizing Laurel Creek - Foothill Road intersection.

The pro-rata share shall be determined based on the
percentage of project traffic using these intersections
compared to all new traffic using these intersections, with
"new traffic" meaning the projected traffic from all
unapproved projects in the Stoneridge area and all previously
approved projects conditioned to participate in these
improvements. The final determination of the project's pro
rata share shall be made by the City Engineer, based on his
estimate of percent share and estimated improvement cost.

10. The developer shall allow the parking lot opposite the
planned BART station site to be modified, at the expense of
others, to minimize conflicting traffic movements at the time
the BART station and/or parking lot is constructed. Any
modification shall be subject to the developer/owners review
and approval, so long as that approval is not unreasonably
withheld.

11. In the event the City Engineer determines that manual traffic
control is required at the Canyon Way - Stoneridge Mall Road
intersection due to traffic volumes beyond the capacity of
the three-way stop controlled intersection, the developer
shall hire, on an as-needed basis, traffic control personnel
to relieve potential congestion at this intersection.

12. That upon completion of the project, all construction
trailers, materials, temporary fencing, etc. shall be removed
from the site unless otherwise authorized by the Planning
Director.
