ARTICLE 1 <br /> MAINTENANCE OF LANDSCAPING <br /> <br />1.1 Areas for Landscapinq Maintenance. The Association <br /> shall maintain the following landscaping areas: <br /> <br /> 1.1.1 Hopyard Road: (i) The areas within the <br /> right of way immediately adjacent to the west <br /> side of Hopyard Road between Stoneridge Drive <br /> and Val Vista Shopping Center, (ii) the area <br /> within the right of way immediately adjacent <br /> to the west side of Hopyard Road from the <br /> Arroyo Mocho Bridge to Valley Trails Drive <br /> South, (iii) the area within the right of way <br /> immediately adjacent to the west side of <br /> Hopyard Road from the Pleasanton canal to <br /> Valley Avenue, (iv) the area within the <br /> Public Service Easement immediately adjacent <br /> to the east side of Hopyard Road between the <br /> northern boundary of Parcel Map 3858 and the <br /> Arroyo Mocho Bridge, (v) the approximately <br /> fifty (50) feet wide area immediately <br /> adjacent to the east side of Hopyard Road <br /> from the southern boundary of Tract 4551 to <br /> Parkside Drive in which landscaping has been <br /> installed by The Prudential Insurance Company <br /> of America ("Prudential") and/or Callahan- <br /> Pentz Properties, Pleasanton ("CPP"), (vi) <br /> the approximately fifty (50) feet wide area <br /> immediately adjacent to the east side of <br /> Hopyard Road from Parkside Drive to the <br /> Pleasanton Canal in which landscaping has <br /> been installed by Prudential or CPP, and <br /> (vii) central medians for Hopyard Road from <br /> its intersection with Valley Avenue to its <br /> intersection with Owens Drive, and (i) and <br /> (vii) are shown on Exhibit A attached hereto <br /> and made a part hereof; <br /> <br /> 1.1.2 Hacienda Business Park: (i) Those areas <br /> designated as Common Area Easements on Parcel <br /> Map 3858, Hacienda Business Park, recorded <br /> August 13, 1982 in Book 135 of Maps, Pages 49 <br /> to 56, Official Records of Alameda County, <br /> and (ii) sidewalks immediately adjacent to <br /> the south side of West Las Positas Boulevard <br /> and the north side of Stoneridge Drive within <br /> Hacienda Business Park, and (iii) all street <br /> medians within Hacienda Business Park as <br /> described in the Declaration, as (i) through <br /> (iii) are shown on Exhibit B attached hereto <br /> and made a part hereof; <br /> <br /> 5 <br /> <br /> <br />
