You had purchased the business (bar, cardroom, and pool <br /> F,ELDSFnV,CES operation) from your former partner and co-permit holder, Mr. <br /> S~SSU~OLB~V.. Mr. Nelson no longer had anything to do with the operation of <br /> S^~,T~nVSEWEn the business located at the Pastime Pool Hall <br /> 847-8061 · <br /> <br /> STREET <br /> s47-soee 3. The business was "sold" on June 24, 1988 and that Mr. Nelson <br /> w^'rE. had not so much as been on the premises since that date. <br /> 847-8071 <br /> 4. You never had any knowledge of drug sales negotiations, use, or <br /> FIRE <br /> 4444RAILROADAVE. sales taking place on the premises at any time. <br /> 847-8114 <br /> 5. Mrs. Shenave was managing the business and that Mr. Shenave, <br /> POLICE <br /> 4.~3BERnI^LavE. the co-holder of the permit, had little or nothing to do with <br /> ,~.o. BOX 909 the business. <br /> 847-8127 <br /> <br /> 6. Mr. Nelson never had any money in the business, he merely <br /> managed it and Mr. & Mrs. Shenave had put up all the money. <br /> <br /> 7. You wanted a chance to "clean-up" the business and run it in <br /> accordance with the law; and that action upon the cardroom <br /> .permit would effectively close the business. <br /> <br /> 8. The cardroom was your livelihood and it accounted for most of <br /> the business on the premises. <br /> <br /> <br />
