11.3 Vacation Allowance Regular Part-time Employees <br /> <br /> Regular part-time employees provided they average between twenty <br /> (20) and twenty-nine (29) hours per week, shall be entitled to <br /> vacation with pay as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) One (1) through four (4) years of continuous service - <br /> forty (40) hours. <br /> <br /> 2) Five (5) through ten (10) years of continuous service - <br /> sixty (60) hours. <br /> <br /> 3) Eleven (11) through eighteen (18) years of continuous <br /> service - eighty (80) hours. <br /> <br /> 4) Nineteen (19) years of continuous service and above - <br /> one-hundred (100) hours. <br /> <br /> Regular part-time employees provided they average between thirty <br /> (30) through thirty-nine (39) hours per week, shall be entitled <br /> to vacation with pay as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) One (1) through four (4) years of continuous service - <br /> sixty (60) hours. <br /> <br /> 2) Five (5) through ten (10) years of continuous service - <br /> ninety (90) hours. <br /> <br /> 3) Eleven (11) through eighteen (18) years of continuous <br /> service - one-hundred twenty (120) hours. <br /> <br /> 4) Nineteen (19) years of continuous service and above - <br /> one-hundred fifty (150) hours. <br /> <br />11.4 Vacation Accumulation <br /> <br /> Any eligible employee may defer eighty (80) hours of his/her <br /> annual vacation to the year succeeding his/her anniversary date, <br /> subject to a written request and written approval of his/her <br /> Department Head. <br /> <br />11.5 Vacation Schedule <br /> <br /> The times during a calendar year at which an employee may take <br /> his/her vacation shall be determined by the Department Head with <br /> due regard for the wishes of the employee and particular regard <br /> for the needs of the service. <br /> <br /> If the requirements of the service are such that an employee <br /> cannot take part or all of his/her annual vacation in a particu- <br /> lar calendar year, such vacation shall be taken during the fol- <br /> lowing calendar year. <br /> <br /> - 21 - <br /> <br /> <br />
