FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br />The cost of this agreement is shared by the partner agencies based on an agreed-upon <br />formula developed at the time the Joint Powers Authority was implemented. This <br />formula took into consideration the service delivery needs and assigned staffing levels <br />for each city. The cost of this agreement is within the parameters authorized by the joint <br />City Councils, therefore no additional appropriations are required. <br />The total cost of the proposed agreement is approximately $511,000 (annualized) for <br />the City of Pleasanton. This increase includes all costs attributed to wages and <br />benefits. There are sufficient funds in the City's two-year operating budget to cover this <br />expense. <br />Page 2 of 4 <br />
