18. Non-reflective glass shall be used throughout the residence. The applicant shall <br />so note on the construction drawings submitted for plan review prior to the <br />issuance of a building permit. <br /> <br />19. The home covered by this approval shall provide telecommunication <br />infrastructure consistent with state-of-the-art methods including 100 base T with <br />separate junction boxes, e.g., cabling for DSL service, wiring for total room <br />access, etc. The applicant shall include those measures in the home <br />construction for review and approval by the Planning Director prior to the <br />issuance of a building permit. <br /> <br />20. The retaining wall shall be design to complementing the house design. Prior to <br />the issuance of a building permit, the applicant shall provide design detail to the <br />Planning Director for review and approval. <br /> <br />21. Final inspection by the Planning Department is required prior to occupancy of the <br />dwellings. <br /> <br />Green Building <br /> <br />22. The subject home shall achieve a “Green Home” rating as specified in Alameda <br />County Waste Management Authority’s “Single-Family Green Building Rating <br />System,” current edition at the time of building permit submittal. A list of the <br />green building measures shall be submitted in conjunction with the plans <br />submitted for issuance of building permits and shall be subject to review and <br />approval by the Planning Director prior to issuance of building permits for the <br />project. <br /> <br />23. The proposed green building checklist shall be shown on one of the first two <br />pages of the plans submitted for the issuance of a building permit. The sheet <br />number(s) where each checklist item is addressed in the plan set shall be noted <br />on the checklist. All proposed green-building measures shall be shown <br />throughout the plan set, as appropriate, as determined by the Planning Director <br />and the Chief Building Official. <br /> <br />24. The Building and Safety Division may require special inspections for the green <br />building measures proposed. If required, the applicant shall provide verification <br />to the Planning Department clearly stating that the Building and Safety Division <br />has inspected and approved all applicable special inspections relating to green <br />building measures. Said verification shall be provided prior to occupancy of the <br />home. <br /> <br /> 4 <br /> <br />
