A similar <br />note shall appear on the improvement plans. <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />60. The area of the development shall be tested for strength and clarity of signal to and from <br />the area for City emergency services communications including, but not limited to, City <br />eight-hundred megahertz (800 mgh) trunked radio, Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Services <br />radio, Alameda County eight-hundred megahertz (800 mgh) trunked radio, CLEMAR/ <br />Police Dispatch, and the current police mobile data system, unless waived by the Police <br />Department, City of Pleasanton. Expert opinions may be required in anticipation of <br />communications difficulties inside or around large structures. Mitigation plans of less <br />than acceptable communications shall be submitted to the satisfaction of the Police <br />Department prior to approval and shall be financed by the applicant immediately upon <br />approval. <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />61. The three dwelling units shall be equipped with automatic fire suppression <br />systems (sprinklers). The systems shall be subject to the review and approval of <br />the Fire Department. <br />62. Prior to final building inspection, the project developer shall post address <br />numerals on the building so as to be plainly visible from all adjoining streets or <br />driveways during both daylight and night time hours. <br />63. The applicant shall meet all requirements of the Pleasanton Fire Code (Pleasanton <br />Municipal Code, Chapter 20.24). <br />64. The applicant shall keep the site free of fire hazards from the start of lumber <br />construction until the final inspection. <br />65. Prior to any construction framing, the applicant shall provide adequate fire <br />protection facilities, including, but not limited to surface roads, fire hydrants, and <br />a water supply and water flow in conformance to the City's Fire Department <br />Standards able to suppress a major fire. When alternate methods of fire protection <br />are approved by the Fire Chief, this requirement may be waived or modified. <br />Proposed alternative methods of fire protection shall be submitted in writing to <br />the Fire Chief prior to any framing construction. Work on the alternative fire <br />protection methods shall not begin until approved by the Fire Chief. <br />66. Blue street "hydrant markers" shall be installed for all fire hydrants per City of <br />Pleasanton Standard Specifications. <br />15 <br />
